Fresh out of the Big Brother house, Gerry has revealed his plans to release his own dating guide.
While most evictees are content with simply cashing in on their new-found “celebrity” status by attending B-list parties, the 31-year-old has claimed that he intends to follow his dream and become a successful author.
Speaking to Channel 4, he said: “Hopefully I will publish my book on dating. It’s only a small paperback, but it could be a success because I spent ten years talking to women to get all the ideas.
“I really, really hope that I can get a stable career by popular writing for a wide audience, because I don’t want to be a celebrity out of Big Brother, but I would love a chance to speak about what I spent all those years at university learning.”
The remaining contestants are in for a shock this week as Big Brother’s producers revealed that they will be staging a double eviction next Friday, with the twins Amanda and Sam counting as one.
Until then, they are being kept busy learning the rules of etiquette at the Big Brother Finishing Academy, with a luxury shopping budget on offer should they all learn to behave like true ladies and gentlemen.
