EastEnders Teaser April 2, 2008
Walford’s unlikely love triangle is up and running. Steven Beale locked lips with Stacey Slater after he enrolled her on a design course. Last week, he told her to follow her dreams, which seem to include getting all hot and bothered about Steven – who has also started to fall for openly gay Christian, his step-mum’s brother. At least Stacey, whose affair with her father-in-law Max was exposed at Christmas, knows all about keeping it in the family. Meanwhile, Steven is frustrated. He wants to take things to the next level with Stacey, but his experience, or lack of it, is seriously hampering his progress. But, as they say, where’s there’s a will there’s a way, and any confusion is soon cleared up. And – ta dah – Steven and Stacey are now public knowledge. But do things go well for Steven on his big night? The smart money says: not on your Nellie – or his, more to the point.
Elsewhere, Bianca hopes the reunion with her kids will go smoothly – as if anything in Bianca’s rather eventful life goes according to plan. She’s got a lot of amends to make, and a party at Dot’s should go some way to making the kids forget that Bianca isn’t exactly Mum of the Year – but will they actually bother showing up? Later, Bianca enrols the kids at school – which means that she’ll be sticking around for a while. Good, she certainly livens the place up.
Meanwhile, Peggy holds a ballot at The Vic to enter two candidates for Barmaid of the Year. Cue outbreak of war between Roxy and Dawn! Dawn doesn’t get off to a good start. She is showing off her dress for the barmaid competition, but it is ruined when muddy Wellard springs into view.
