Big Brother Weekend Update – Day 24
Housemates failed yesterday’s token task miserably. The not so green fingered contestants were challenged to create sculptures out of bukus trees in the style of the Tim Burton directed film Edward Scissorhands. Mario and Mikey were excluded from the task after Big Brother had sent them to jail earlier in the evening. Lisa butchered her plant into what was supposed to be an open topped car, but it was reduced to a few twigs by the end of her pruning session. Meanwhile, Rex fashioned his tree into an ice-cream, Mohamed made an egg, Jennifer attempted a Christmas tree while Luke struggled with a question mark. While Dale was trying to trim a replica of the Eiffel Tower, he discovered a birds nest with an egg inside. Rachel and Rebecca took it to the Diary Room for Big Brother to hand over to the RSPCA.
Darnell failed to create a convincing lobster, Kathreya had to change her planned doughnut into a heart shape and Rachel did her best to make a giraffe. Darnell told Stuart his snail looked like an oven glove.
Later, Darnell attacked Rebecca for saying Kat didn’t deserve to win the show.
The US deportee lashed out at the motor-mouth last night for her secret chats about other “boring” housemates.
He said “Today you and Jennifer have totally been talking about how you don’t want to hang out with the ‘boring people’. But some of it is getting catty and personal. Like you saying that Kat basically don’t deserve to win Big Brother.”
Rebecca responded angrily.
She shouted “I’ll say a lot of things in this house but it doesn’t mean you have to take things out of context. You’re one of those people who gets a big spoon and you stir things up and you tell people about it!”
Rex agreed to stay in the ‘Big Brother’ house after threatening to walk out last night. The self-styled playboy told fellow housemates he couldn’t take the bitching, backstabbing and general in the tension in the house anymore and planned to leave.
He said although he didn’t want to go, he didn’t want to stay in the house just to experience fight after fight.
Big Brother took housemates’ sight today in a new task which forces contestants to experience the house from Mikey’s perspective by blindfolding them for three hours. The group was been broken up into pairs so one blindfolded housemate can be led around by the other. After three hours they will swap roles.
Mikey - who was left permanently blind after an operation on his eye went wrong - chose the pairs and will advise them on how to deal with life without vision.
The pairs are:
Mario and Rebecca
Kat and Mohamed
Rex and Jen
Dale and Rachel
Lisa and Stuart
Luke and Darnell
Big Brother Weekend Update – Day 24
Friday night saw Sylvia evicted from the Big Brother house. Sassy Sylv received 90.2%t of the public vote and excited the house to vicious boos - termed “severe, even by Big Brother standards” by Davina McCall – which she admitted “shocked” her.
She said: “I was really shocked at first but I just tried to blank it out. I’m a bit nervous.”
Davina quizzed Sylvia on her feelings for muscley new housemate Stuart, who joined the group last week.
As she watched a series of clips showing her flirting with Stuart, Sylvia was mortified.
However, she said that she wouldn’t change anything about her ‘Big Brother’ experience because throughout she was “just being myself”.
Jennifer upset Kathreya during an early morning disagreement. After Kat began talking about her native Thailand and proudly explained about the country’s royal family and the amount of respect Thai people have for them, Jen said she did not agree with the strictness of the regime in the country.
Although the rest of the Big Brother housemates didn’t notice, Kat was left distraught by Jen’s comments and the two exchanged words.
Also on Saturday morning, Luke and Mikey had a gossip session about Rebecca. Foul-mouthed Mikey began questioning Luke about the sleeping arrangements in the house last night - which saw Darnell switch from the basic to the luxury Big Brother bedroom - and the politics student was quick to reveal some information about buxom Bex.
Luke said “Rebecca got into my bed at one point and lay there for ten minutes.”
An amazed Mikey was quick to ask what happened next.
Luke said Bex was “begging” him to tuck her in.
Later in the morning Big Brother told the contestants to clean the house. Luke collected instructions from the Diary Room which stated the housemates were being given 40 minutes to tidy the house because it was messy.
Big Brother Day 23 - More Arguing
Housemates continued to argue this afternoon.
Dale and Mohamed butted heads once again after Mario emerged from the Diary Room with the news of Dennis’ departure.
The clash was broken up when Mario escorted Mohamed into the bedroom.
Meanwhile, Rex and Rebecca argued in the garden over whether she should have got involved in the dispute.
Darnell also rubbed fellow housemates up the wrong way when he tried to defend his part in the conflict, which Rebecca said frightened the life out of her.
He said “I know that Mohamed didn’t physically hit somebody, he didn’t spit on nobody.
“I know people who have been spat on, it is degrading.
“We can apologise for all the stuff we said. You can’t take back spit.”
In the garden, Mohamed told Rex the fight may have saved him from tonight’s eviction.
He said “If the public see me being spat on and holding my temper, it might work in my favour. I didn’t want to retaliate.”
Luke added “I just feel as though tonight it’s going to get worse.”
Big Brother Day 23 - Dennis Removed From House
Dennis was kicked out of the Big Brother house this afternoon.
The camp dancer was ordered out by Big Brother for “aggressive behaviour” after spitting in Mohamed’s face.
Big Brother called Dennis into the Diary Room to break the news.
Big Brother said “Before you entered the house, you were made aware of the rules on unacceptable behaviour.
“Big Brother also told you in person that if you behaved aggressively towards another housemate, you would be removed from the house.
“Dennis, last night at 00.42, after an argument with several housemates in the luxury bedroom, you spat in Mohamed’s face.
“Dennis, do you remember the incident Big Brother is referring to?”
Dennis said he did.
Big Brother continued “Big Brother is in no doubt that spitting in another housemate’s face is an act of aggression and is therefore unacceptable behaviour.
“Big Brother is therefore left with no choice but to remove you from the ‘Big Brother’ house. Do you have anything to say before you leave?”
Dennis said “I’m just really sorry and I’m so disappointed in myself.”
Mohamed and Sylvia still face eviction tonight.
Big Brother Day 23 - Luke Wants an Eviction
Luke says an eviction is just what the house needs at the moment.
The democratic 20-year-old suggested it might help to diffuse the situation after the housemates were locked up in separate bedrooms last night.
Mohamed - who was spat at during last night’s fight with Dennis - is up for eviction tonight, alongside trouble magnet Sylvia.
Luke added “People should assess why they’re here.”
Meanwhile, foul-mouthed comedian Mikey said he thought Big Brother handled the situation well and came across as calm and in control.
Lisa agreed, saying she can see why Big Brother had decided to keep them locked up because all the boys are strongly opinionated and always think they are in the right.
Meanwhile in B-block, Mohamed said he thinks Dennis came into the house expecting people to have a problem with his homosexuality.
Mario also commented on Dennis’ behaviour, saying he has only just decided the muscleman was “great”.
He joked “I’ve been great from day one.”
Mohamed added: “What an experience to have the day before you get evicted.”
Big Brother Day 23 - The Morning After The Night Before
Big Brother allowed housemates to sleep it off this morning after last night’s alcohol fuelled spat.
Hungover housemates continued to snooze into the afternoon while Mohamed and Mario chatted in the B-block bedroom.
Mohamed - who was spat at by Dennis during the heated row - grew restless at being locked in the bedroom away from the other housemates.
He said “What the hell is going on?”
After the feuding group was separated, Big Brother announced it would be conducting interviews with every housemate concerned before deciding on taking further action.
Mohamed said “I was sure they would have done the interviews by now.”
Meanwhile in the luxury bedroom, Dennis said he had a really painful head last night and was sick everywhere after exiting the Diary Room.
Rebecca wondered what they were given to drink because she, Dennis and Sylvia were all ill. Dennis says that he doesn’t think it was a hangover.
Big Brother Day 23 - Darnell’s Date With Sylvia
Darnell took Sylvia on a date last night.
The smooth songwriter wined and dined the sexy student after Big Brother told him he could pick one housemate to have a luxury dinner with.
Darnell was awarded the meal after picking up a special prize token delivered with the group’s shopping.
Sylvia thanked Darnell for a wonderful dinner and said she truly enjoyed his company.
She said “I feel special. I feel like a princess.”
The pair dined on spaghetti and meatballs and quaffed Champagne during the meal in the task room.
Darnell - who chose to dine with Sylvia because she may be evicted tonight - let Dale and Dennis dress him up for the special evening, complete with a cravat scarf.
He said “I feel like I’m in a whole new world. This is gangster, I never wore one of these before. Where the hell have I been, dude? I think I’ve been living under a rock.”
Big Brother Day 23 - Jen Puts Kibosh on Romance
Jennifer made it clear she isn’t interested in a Big Brother romance.
The mother-of-one let Dale down gently, saying all the attention from him and Stuart makes her “feel like s**t”.
She told Dale “You’ve said from day one that you had feelings for me. I’ve started to pick up vibes from Stuart as well. I feel like s**t because I’m attracting it and I’m not trying to. It’s made me feel very uncomfortable and it’s ruining my experience. Yesterday I didn’t want to put make-up on, I don’t want to be found attractive.
“I’m a single parent and I want to be a midwife — this is not me. Women will hate me because of this situation, and it’s not something I’ve encouraged.”
Dale agreed with the object of his affections, saying he didn’t feel like she was leading anyone on.
He said “I understand the situation you’re in. It’s s**t. The majority of the camera is on you. But you’ve spoken to me throughout this as a friend. You haven’t led anyone on.”
In a last desperate attempt to woo the part-time model, ladies’ man Dale handed her a rose.
He added “I don’t want you to think I’m being frivolous. I don’t want it to be something over a stretch of weeks or months. I want it to be more than that.”
Big Brother Day 23 - Party Animals
Rebecca vomited after too much alcohol last night.
The 21-year-old party animal was comforted by close pal Luke while she forced herself to be sick.
Luke said “Wash the toilet, let’s get out of here. Come on. Do you want me to give you a minute, Rebecca?”
Rachel and Stuart later checked on the sozzled housemate and offered her water and dry toast.
Rebecca said “I’m never drinking again.”
Lisa replied “I’ll believe that when I see it.”
Meanwhile, tee-total Kathreya accidentally got drunk after drinking punch she thought was non-alcoholic. She sang her sang her ‘Cookie Love’ song to herself while she swayed and danced alone.
Sylvia pointed out that the Thai masseuse looked inebriated.
She said “Your eyes are going!”
Kathreya decided to get some fresh air, but the group warned her it was raining.
Stuart joked “It’ll soak up all that alcohol!”
Big Brother Day 23 - Dennis Could Be Evicted
Dennis could be kicked out of the Big Brother house for spitting in Mohamed’s face.
The camp dancer lashed out at the Somalian toy demonstrator during a fight in the early hours of this morning, which also involved Rex and Jennifer.
E4 was forced to suspend the live coverage and split the group into the two bedrooms to calm the situation down.
The disagreement kicked off when wealthy chef Rex smeared pizza into Jennifer’s life painting of Stuart.
The mother-of-one burst into tears and ran into the luxury bedroom where she was comforted by Dennis.
The outspoken Scot attacked Rex - who had upset Jen earlier in the evening for making an inappropriate joke - before squaring off to Mohamed who was defending the self-styled playboy.
Now Dennis fears he could get the boot.
He said “I could get removed tomorrow. I told Big Brother, ‘take me out right now, but no woman should be made to feel like that from two males’.”
He added “If a woman is sitting breaking her heart no-one should be arguing. Mo got up in my face and said, ‘don’t tell me to shut up’ and that’s when I spat at him in his face.
“If I’m removed, I’m removed. Everyone’s gonna get pulled in one by one tomorrow.”
