Coronation Street Teaser – July 2, 2008
Steve’s lies are continuing to get him into trouble this week, as he tries to avoid the increasingly suspicious Michelle. Eventually, he buckles under the pressure and proposes to her in order to maintain Lloyd’s story. Michelle is delighted – until she finds out the truth thanks to a slip of the tongue by Lloyd. Meanwhile, Steve just keeps digging himself deeper and deeper.
The wedding-bells theme is continued elsewhere as Tyrone realises how much he cares for Molly and decides to make it official. Jack offers him Vera’s engagement ring, and Tyrone books a swanky restaurant for the occasion. But things don’t quite go according to plan…
Also this week, Kevin and Tony continue to wage war over the garage. Ken surprises Roy by handing in his notice at the cafe. Dev realises that he needs more excitement in his life, but doesn’t know where to find it. Kevin’s paranoia gets on Sally and Rosie’s nerves. And a furious Michelle decides to make Steve sweat.
