It’s looking bad - very bad, in fact - for Bob. First, he is left utterly distraught after Viv severs all ties with him. Then, when Nicola approaches him for an out-of-court settlement, Bob flips and states that as he’s got nothing to give, she might as well take the shirt off his back - Terry shepherds a half-naked Bob out of the street! The harassed chap then races off to the Hotton Courier, where he clambers onto a decorator’s platform halfway up the side of the building. A crowd gathers as Bob rants and raves - will he hit rock bottom in more ways then one?
Val persuades a reluctant Pollard to give Lexi a trial at the factory. Lexi discovers that Pollard is recruiting for a supervisor to combat his anarchic workforce. She puts her name forward, but the other workers prefer Lisa. Who will get the job?

Mel is feeling very guilty about Abi - thanks to Mel, the pair were embroiled in a fight during which Abi’s eye was damaged. Now, Abi is upset to hear that the injuries will confine her to a desk job. She tells Mel that she’s considering quitting the force if she can’t be a proper copper. Mel can’t help but blame herself. Struggling with her guilt, Mel sinks a few in the Rovers and takes a taxi to the club. There, she follows Charelle, the leader of the gang that injured her mate, to the toilets. Is Mel about to exact her own revenge?
Elsewhere, Tom approaches Carla for a loan - but there are strings attached. Liam is disgusted to hear that Carla has been made a partner in their new business. Carla plays it cool as Liam insists he wants her out of the deal - as he studies the figures, Liam realises that without her money they’ll lose the contract. Will Liam put his marriage to Maria first, or has Carla found her way back into his life?
John’s in shock following the sudden death of his grandmother. Will Fiz provide a shoulder for him to cry on? Dev insists he’s going to finish with Nina and Mel, and Amber gets herself a date with Darryl - but Dev’s determined to scupper her chances.

When it was first announced that Ricky and Bianca were to return to the Square, we all knew how it would pan out. They’d to-and-fro with each other for a bit, row, make-up, row, make-up, fall in love, fall out of love… and Ricky, his face as long as a wet week, would inevitably end up on the bench of depression in the Square’s grotty garden. And so it goes. Tonight, Ricky has a hot date but, yes, can’t shake the feelings he has for Bianca. Will he never learn? Bianca, meanwhile, is frustrated that she doesn’t have enough money to throw a big party.
New Jack-the-lad Callum Monks has made a beeline for Stacey Slater. And Stacey hasn’t exactly been complaining about it. However, Stacey’s smile quickly turns into a frown when Callum becomes mates with none other than Bradley. Now, Bradley tries to cement his friendship with Callum but this only causes more problems with Stacey. Later, Bradley and Callum have something of a discussion. Whatever could they be talking about?
Elsewhere, Suzy and Max move into No. 27, but Max seems to be plotting something. Later, Phil hands over a package to Max. Ian, home from hospital, sees something that he shouldn’t. Roxy and Sean go for their baby scan.

The troubled woman then confronts Libby in front her class, forcing Libby to admit that she has feelings for her hubbie. This induces a complete meltdown in Sam, who throws her medication away before accepting a lift from a carload of strangers, who she invites back to the house for a party. Clearly, Sam is out of control…
Meanwhile, Steve is released from prison on bail. However, while inside, Steve came into contact with some very unpleasant characters, some of whom threatened his family. Now, Steve is more than a little alarmed to spot one of the bad guys spying on his family…

Big Brother Day 84: Mikey’s Tirade
Mikey launched into a foul-mouthed tirade after Rex kept him awake last night.
The blind radio producer let rip at the professional chef this morning after waking up on the wrong side of the bed.
He said “For f**k’s sake. I didn’t get any f**king sleep. That’s why I’m tired today, because inconsiderate people were chatting at the top of their voice for about a f**king hour.
“Why the f**k could they not just go to the f**king living room?
“I’m absolutely furious at Rex. He’s one of the most inconsiderate people I’ve ever met. It was at the top of his voice!”
Former bodybuilder Lisa agreed Mikey had every right to be upset.
She said “I could hear Mikey saying, ‘Can you please just go into the other room and talk?’ And I don’t blame you Mikey.”
But loved up Lisa - who was recently engaged to former housemate Mario - had a more pleasant sleep.
She said “I was in a lovely deep sleep, dreaming of Mario. Very strongly. And the night before, and the night before that!”
Kat threatened to knife Rex this afternoon (12pm).
The usually positive thinking cookie monster told Rex she would “stab him in the back” if he stayed in the kitchen after the chef questioned her on the blade she was carrying.
Rex has dominated the kitchen since entering the house and is always giving cooking tips to fellow housemates, much to their annoyance.
Meanwhile, Darnell - who threatened to quit the show yesterday - insisted head of house Mohamed order 280 of Big Brother’s ever changing mystery prizes instead of food.
He said “I’ve never cried or moaned about anything material. I’ve never asked for anything.
“If we get all special tokens, then they’ll get the chance to give us everything they’ve wanted to give us.”
But level headed Mikey did not think there would be enough time to come up with that many surprises.
He said: “”It’ll take Big Brother two days just to think of them.”
Big Brother Day 84: Darnell is Lovelorn over Sara
Darnell whined “why can’t I have Sara?” last night.
The lovelorn songwriter - who has admitted he fancied the sexy Aussie before she began flirting with former housemate Stuart - said he did not think she was particularly attractive so he should be able to go out with her.
He said “I’m not mad because I can’t have Sara, in all honesty I think there’s definitely more attractive people. She’s not my type.
“It’s not like I’m reaching for the stars. For example, it’s Sara, it’s not f**king Jessica Alba or Mischa Barton or Paris Hilton. It’s just Sara.
“I don’t rate her necessarily that high, and because I don’t rate her that highly I think, ‘Why can’t I have her?’”
After previously admitting he was hurt when Sara fled his bed to snuggle up with Stu, Darnell last night said he does not want to come across as a “jealous” guy.
Darnell branded Sara an “ugly b***h” on Monday.
Housemates passed their Las Vegas themed task last night.
Darnell and Mikey wowed everyone with their performance of ‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart’ dressed as Elton John and Kiki Dee while Rex escaped from a straight jacket.
The group has now secured a luxury shopping budget for the coming week.
But Big Brother has yet to inform the contestants they will receive the money in 10 pence pieces and must gamble it all away.
Former bodybuilder Lisa - who was recently engaged to former housemate Mario - speculated about what Big Brother has in store for tomorrow.
She said “It’ll be a different theme. I bet ya.”
Darnell correctly assumed the slot machines in the house would come into play soon.
He said “They still could use slot machines, bring in a roulette table, make us play Blackjack. We’ll be doing the casino tomorrow.”
Bizarrely, Mohamed commented how fruit machines are not gambling and are more a “game of chance”.
Rex ranted “What are you talking about? Of course that’s gambling!”
Sara added “Big Brother must have so many ideas.”
Big Brother Day 84: HM’s to Win Big Bucks
One housemate will win £50,000 tonight.
In a shock live show, Big Brother contestants will be put to a series of tough questions to determine the winner of the prize.
The unlucky bunch will also be forced to nominate in front of each other live on air.
The grand prize of £100,000 is not affected by tonight’s contest.
The live show will broadcast on Channel 4 at 11.05pm.
Meanwhile, Darnell has vowed to give all his money away if he wins the show.
The songwriter - who threatened to walk out yesterday because he is fed up of being “angry” all the time - said material wealth means nothing to him.
He said “If I win, all I’m going to do now is give it away to charity, give it to my mum or blow it on my friends.
“It’s not going to make me happy at all. It sucks and that’s why I get so mad.”
Rex fears he has been lynched by the media since entering the Big Brother house.
The arrogant chef - who in unaware his alleged affair with a stripper was made public - told Sara how girlfriend Nicole warned him to “expect the worse”.
But the wealthy playboy did not reveal his supposed infidelity.
He said “I know because of the people that I have associated myself with in my life. They are all in the media and a lot of the girls are models, all the guys are doing jobs in the media or whatever.
“For example, I have so many people that I know, it doesn’t take a genius to put two and two together to think some genius will make up a story.”
Rex also said Nicole - who was voted out of the house with the highest percentage of the public vote in ‘Big Brother’ history - had asked him “outrageous questions” which led him to believe rumours were being spread about him.
Big Brother Day 83: Mid-week Eviction Fears?
Housemates speculated about a mid-week eviction this afternoon.
The group - one of which will in fact be ousted tomorrow if they fail a special task - assumed there must be something going on as this week’s shopping task will last for one day instead of the usual two.
The contestants must perform their Las Vegas style show this evening, with Sara believing head of house Mohamed may have to pick his favourite acts to stay in the house.
Cookie monster Kathreya thinks the public are voting for the housemate they want out.
Grumpy Darnell - who called Sara an “ugly b***h” yesterday - said he was “not cool” with a mid-week eviction and believes he will be the one to go.
Meanwhile, Lisa told Rachel she imagines the whole house has been nominated, with one person being kicked out on Wednesday followed by a double eviction on Friday.
Mohamed is immune from eviction this week after housemates unwittingly nominated him as head of house.
Rex broke out of his straightjacket in record time this afternoon.
The arrogant playboy escaped the garment in just a few minutes after his first attempt at the escapologist stunt.
And the show-off did it again in seconds on his next try.
He said “We are finished. What are we going to do, have a cigarette? I’ve got nothing to do for the rest of the day.”
Meanwhile, Mikey and Darnell - who have been instructed by head of house Mohamed to only answer to ‘Elton’ and ‘Kiki Dee’ - camped it up as they rehearsed for their performance of ‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart’.
Darnell/Elton said “Alright Kiki, let’s take it to them now. You burning up, you hot as usual, you know that?”
Mikey/Kiki made a move on Darnell/Elton.
He/she said “I know you’ve got a husband, Elton, but you know, I’ve got needs too. So have you.”
Darnell/Elton replied:”Of course I have. All the time.”
Mikey/Kiki added “Your husband won’t be watching. He’ll be busy.”
The pair proceeded to rub up against each other.
Big Brother Day 83: Rex in a Straight Jacket?
Rex volunteered to lock himself in a straight jacket.
The boastful bully stepped up to the task after Mohamed read the instructions for the Las Vegas themed task this afternoon.
He said “I wanna become the escapologist.”
But sales rep Lisa - who was recently blown away by lover Mario’s shock proposal on Sunday - did not seem so confident in Rex’s skills.
She said “We need to pass, obviously.”
Head of house Mohamed went on to assign Darnell and Mikey with the task of impersonating Elton John and Kiki Dee and singing the pair’s hit ‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart’.
Darnell asked Mikey “Do you wanna be the dude, or shall I?”
Lisa and Rachel were chosen as magicians and have spent much of the afternoon practicing, using a portable DVD to watch an expert perform card tricks.
Lisa said “I’m good at hand to eye, but I’m not the fastest. But we’ll have a go.”
Kathreya and Sara were chosen as the illusionist and assistant.
Darnell has changed his mind about wanting to quit Big Brother.
The emotional songwriter backtracked on his comments earlier this morning, saying he does not want to go before a task.
Darnell is rehearsing for his part as Elton John, alongside Mikey as Kiki Dee for a rendition of ‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart’.
The rapper was called to the Diary Room this afternoon (2pm), prompting his fellow housemates to wind him up about his previous desire to leave.
Rex joked “Maybe you’re out of here.”
Mohamed added “Yeah, that sounded bad.”
Earlier, Darnell ranted about how unhappy he was in the house and said he was fed up with seeing how happy everyone else was.
He said “There’s obviously something wrong with me, I’m never happy. I’m so angry, I’m so bitter. I can’t deal with seeing everyone happy in the house.
“I’d do this just for you guys to get in the final. I want to go. I just can’t muster up the effort.”
