Helmsworth’s Marvelous New Dawn – Thor Cast
For years those two Australian TV institutions Home and Away and Neighbours have been quietly churning out hot teens hungry keen on conquering Hollywood.
This year ex-Summer Bayer Chris Helmsworth is set to become the latest rising star of the Aussi dynasty after being tentatively chosen to play Hammer welding god of thunder, Thor, in the Marvel adaptation directed by Kenneth Branagh.
His recent appearance as George Kirk in J.J. Abram’s out of this world Star Trek reboot brought Helmsworth to the attention of Hollywood movers and shakers who swiftly cast him as the lead in the upcoming United Artist remake of Red Dawn.
Talk about raising the bar – Toady’s really got his work cut out!
