Michael Cera has humbly claimed that he’s not a big enough name to star in Ghostbusters 3.

The Superbad star, who will feature in the new comedy Year One with Jack Black, told Moviefone that he thinks it’s unlikely that he’d be considered for a role in the sequel to the spectre-zapping comedy.

“No. I don’t think so,” Cera remarked. “Ghostbusters is too important for me to try and be one. I would feel like a phony. I would feel like an impostor.”

Jack Black has no such qualms, “Could I see myself in it? Yeah, I can bust some ghosts! I ain’t afraid of no ghosts, buster!”

Ghostbusters 3 is being written by Year One creators Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky and features the original four cast members training new recruits.

What is this, some kind of supernatural Police Academy? You’ll be first to know if Bobcat Goldthwait gets involved at all.
