Die Hard Comes To House Of Lords

The House of Lords has been taken hostage, and it’s up to one Member of Parliament to save the day!

This is the storyline for The Lord’s Day, a film which Sony is planning which is based on Michael Dobbs’ novel of the same name.

Unfortunately, it seems a safe bet that most of these expenses-claiming toffs will eventually be saved, but some will probably get a good kicking – and not before time.

The story will focus on Harry ‘John McClane’ Jones (MP) and his thrilling attempts to stop the dirty terrorists, who are eventually revealed to be part of a global conspiracy deeper than anyone – with the exception of the audience – imagined.

With production still as distant as air conditioning on the tube, there are as yet no casting confirmations. However even at this stage, handing the role of Harry Jones to anyone other than Ross Kemp seems unthinkable.

Maybe Boris Johnson will be up another for a cameo…
