Jude Law Will NOT Be In Thor

Settle down discerning comic-book fans, do not count on Thor featuring the likes of A-listers Robert DeNiro and Jude Law. Just rumours.

It all started after actor Matthias Schweighöfer (Valkyrie, Red Baron) let it slip in the German edition of Gentlemen’s Quarterly. He also mentioned himself in the running for a part in the upcoming film. But, we’re not sure that his comments hold much weight.

Now, according to the website Gossip Cop, Law’s reps are denying the casting. And, as far as DeNiro goes, the word going around the grapevine is that he is not doing the film either. But who needs them anyway?

Thor, Odin and Loki have all been cast. Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman are confirmed to join the gang. And Marvel’s superhero flick is due to be released in May 2011.
