Men In Black 3 Meets Tropic Thunder
The Men in Black may be back.
Columbia Pictures has hired Tropic Thunder writer Etan Cohen to pump out the third installment of its alien-tracking franchise, reports Variety.
The first two films earned a combined $1.1 billion worldwide. Men in Black remained the studio’s highest-grossing franchise until the “Spider-Man” saga took the lead.
The Men in Black themselves, Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, have yet to sign on. And the studio remains tight-lipped about the direction. But the third installment is set to start filming in 2010.
