Courtney Cox Quashes Friends Movie Rumours
When Cox was asked if the cast had all signed up, she replied: “That would be a negative. We’re not. I can’t imagine it. I don’t know. I just can’t imagine that happening.”
Which, in case you’re not fluent in repetition, is pretty much a ‘no’.
“I always thought we should have done a Thanksgiving episode,” she continued. “Once a year, all the friends should get back together and do one episode. And it didn’t happen. I really thought that would be a good idea. But no-one’s listening.”
A pop culture phenomenon, Friends centred on a comical group of young-ish New Yorkers.
Despite Warner Bros. flatly denying banking on a Sex and the City-like franchised film adaptation of the hit sitcom, James Michael Tyler (Gunther) claimed in September that the Friends film was “definitely on.”
But with Cox’s latest buzz kill and representatives for Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow previously dismissing the gossip, Friends is looking like a no-go.
