Wes Craven On Board For Scream 4?
Remember Scream? That tragically over-the-top trilogy that preceded the Paranormal Activities of today. Well, it’s coming back for a fourth.
While Wes Craven is tentative about directing, scribe Kevin Williamson is working on a script that will allegedly reference manga comics, Asian ghost girls movies, PG-13 horror movies, vampire films, M. Night Shyamalan movies and torture porn, to boot. Having worked on the first two films in the trilogy, Williamson is working off the original story.
The film will be set 10 years later in Woodsboro. While the franchise’s staple characters will return a la Neve Campbell and Courtney Cox, Williamson is introducing a few new folk.
The next installment of the Scream franchise is set to begin filming April next year.
