Pitt Gets His Teeth Into New Vamp Flick
Vampires are everywhere, you practically can’t move for the blood-suckers these days: Twilight, Thirst, True Blood, Let The Right One In, Cirque du Freak, the godawful Lesbian Vampire Killers and that’s just this year. Think about it, about 50% of the population must be some kind of nocturnal sanguine-slurper by now.
But as it seems to be making many a pretty penny for movie studios, yet another vamp movie is in the works. Summit Entertainment (the studio behind the teen emo-fest Twilight) are reportedly working on Vlad, a movie about the prince Dracula was before he developed a penchant for capes and had to find a new dentist.
Brad Pitt’s production company Plan B are apparently assisting with the project. Brad himself is no stranger to fangs and white make up as he was Louis in the Interview With The Vampire way back in 1994.
According to Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision blog, it’ll be a “visually edgy and radical period movie”.
Sounds like the movie adaptation of Pride and Prejudice with Zombies would be more fun. Pass the brains…
