Twilight-34-largeApparently R-Patz, K-Stew and erm… Taylor Lautner are not close to signing deals for a potential fifth Twilight movie.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, studio Summit Entertainment hasn’t secured the trio past a fourth feature, but is planning to split the last book in Stephenie Meyers’s vampire saga, Breaking Dawn, into two 3D films.

If the studio does decide to make the final instalment a double-helping (which they will) then they will have to re-nogotiate the star’s contracts at considerable extra cost – Lautner’s reported asking price has risen to $7.5m after he secured roles in Northern Lights, Stretch Armstrong and Max Steele.

Although that cost will presumably be dwarfed by the revenue created from an extra film…
