American Pie 4 Gets Writers
Back in the day, American Pie was the funniest thing going when it came to teen comedy but by the third movie we were done. Unfortunately the studios weren’t and continued to churn out sub-par sequels, now they’re back at it with a sequel to the original trilogy.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg have signed on for writing duties, taking a break from penning the Harold and Kumar movies.
The premise for the movie is being kept under wraps as deals to bring back the original cast aren’t finalised yet but it’s suggested that a couple of them are interested. Chris Klein, Jason Biggs, Thomas Ian Nicholas and Eddie Kaye Thomas played the original group of friends on a mission to lose their virginity and they haven’t got a lot on right now so they’re probably OK to sign up.
Sean William Scott and Alyson Hannigan fared the best in their post-Pie careers but Hannigan is busy with How I Met Your Mother though could probably fit the film in her schedule.
The real question should be is will Stifler’s mom return?
