Saucy Shrek Magazine Shoot

vmanshrekDreamWorks execs have been getting all hot and bothered over a saucy magazine spread featuring Shrek characters alongside barely clothed models.

Part of the Shrek: Forever And After promotional campaign, the picture feature in US men’s magazine Vman turned out to be a lot bluer then expected.

In one pic Donkey, who is voiced by Eddie Murphy in the movies, snuggles up to a lingerie clad lady while a shirtless fellow reclines on a bed behind them.

In other snaps Shrek, played by Mike Myers and Princess Fiona, voiced by Cameron Diaz, pose with male and female models wearing skin tight leathers.

The suits at DreamWorks and Paramount were reportedly left shocked when they saw the published pictures – apparently expecting something a little less suggestive.

A Paramount spokesman said: “While we do respect Vman’s creative vision, the shoot did not turn out the way originally envisioned when the idea was first presented by the magazine. In hindsight, we would have declined to include the Shrek characters in such a magazine spread.”

The studio said it would not pursue legal action against the magazine.
