According to reports, Kellan Lutz (who plays Emmet Cullen) and Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen) could be replaced with new actors in Breaking Dawn because studio Summit Entertainment is refusing to meet their pay demands.

Their pair’s initial contract ran for three films, but the studio was forced to renegotiate after plans to make the final book in the series into two seperate films emerged. The three main stars, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner are all reportedly close to signing but Lutz and Green are rumoured to be stalling for a better deal.

“We may have a situation where one of them is thrown out on the street to make a point,” a source told The Hollywood Reporter. “This thing is gonna be two movies, with or without the cast intact.”

Summit have shown that they will not hesitate to drop actors with excessive wage-requests in the past. Rachelle Lefevre (Victoria) with Bryce Dallas Howard for Eclipse when Lefevre’s agents made fresh salary and scheduling demands.
