Long Live Sex And The City
Speaking to MTV Kim Cattrall has revealed that she would be delighted with a third instalment in the Sex and the City movie series. Playing Samantha Jones in this Friday’s sequel, the sassy character said that any further filming will be down to the current writer-director Michael Patrick King coming up with the goods for a third time.
“I don’t know if there will be a third. I hope there will be. I think there’s more stories to be told. That’s totally (Michael’s) call” said Cattrall.
Recognising the demand for the characters the TV series has created, she hinted that SATC will continue for a while longer, but sressed that King still had his work cut out. “I think once we start repeating ourselves, it’s time to say goodbye…Maybe that’s in five years, maybe that’s in ten. Who knows? I hope we can do it for as long as the audience is there and the characters are interesting and growing and changing”.
To be honest, I doubt any self-respecting girl (and the odd bloke) will get sick of the bitching, break-ups and shoes.
