indy300Hollywood legend Harrison Ford has horrified Indy fans by confirming that he would like to make a fifth film in the once great franchise.

The silver fox told Access Hollywood “Oh sure, I’d love to do it,” before admitting that he and producers George Lucas and Steven Spielberg would need to sit down and thrash out ideas about where they could take the fifth Indiana Jones instalment first. There have been reports this year that the film will see the American adventurer head for the Bermuda Triangle.

He explained: “If there’s something that the three of us can agree on then I’d love to do it.”

The fourth addition to the franchise, Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull, was not well received by fans. The Telegraph suggested it was ‘undeniably creaky,’ and that Harrison did not, ‘wear the fedora with quite the same jaunty angle, his bullwhip doesn’t crack as smartly – and Harrison Ford looks all of his 65 years.’ Nevertheless, Harrison seems open to making another.

Ford most recently finished making Cowboys and Aliens with Daniel Craig and House beauty Olivia Wilde.

“It’s a real cowboy movie, looks like a cowboy movie, feels like a classic cowboy movie, and then things happen, and then it goes back to being a cowboy movie with this added element,” Ford said. “And I think it’s the kind of film that there’s a real broad audience for. I’m very excited for it. I think it’s going to be good.”
