Monsters Set To Infect Cinemas

monsters300ADVERTORIAL: Most film-lovers know that ‘Infected Zones’ are usually the last places you want to find yourself in, but if you arrive in one when you visit your local cinema in the run up to Christmas you could be about to score something much better than a nasty illness. To celebrate Gareth Edwards’s debut film, Monsters, selected Vue and Cineworld locations in partnership with Foursquare will also providing fans with exclusive content and on-the-spot prizes in the run up to the film’s release on December 3rd.

Monsters has been compared to such smash hit films as Cloverfield and District 9 revolves around an American journalist’s attempt to escort a tourist through an ‘infected zone’ in Mexico where alien lifeforms have begun to breed and wage war on the Mexican and US armies. Director Gareth Edwards has already demonstrated his special effects genius at the Beeb and has been compared to James Cameron, the director of blockbuster Avatar.

Monsters stars Scoot McNairy (who has appeared in popular TV shows such as My Name is Earl, The Shield and CSI) and blonde beauty Whitney Able who was voted No. 83 on Maxim’s Hot 100 of 2008 list.
