neve_campbell210Whilst Neve Campbell will next be seen in Scream 4: The Flogging Of The Dead Horse, she’s at least set her sights on something a bit more imaginative as she’s in negotiations to join the cast of Roland Joffe’s Singularity.

The sci-fi drama will star Josh Harnett as a British Captain in colonial India in 1778 and also as an archaeologist who falls into a coma in 2015. Campbell’s gunning for a role as Harnett’s wife and fellow archaeologist in the future who gets into trouble trying to unearth a ring from a sunken ship.

Olga Kurylenko, Claire van der Boom and Bipasha Basu have also signed up. Joffe who’s been nominated for two Oscars (The Killing Fields in 1984 and The Mission in 1984) has fallen out of favour since the controversy surrounding the controversial poster for Captivity in 2007, so he could use a bit of a reputation resurrection. Could this be the one to put him back on the map?
