Andy210Next to join the increasingly good cast of SNL alumni for indie comedy The Hand Job is Andy Samberg. Samberg might not be a household name over here but we’re betting you’ve seen him before, most notably in SNL skits Dick In A Box and Mother Lover but also as the most recognisable face of Incredibad, a spoof musical trio behind Jizz In My Pants and I’m On A Boat.

He joins Donald Glover, Bill Hader, Connie Britton, Johnny Simmons and Mae Whitman who are already in on the project along with Scott Pilgrim‘s Aubrey Plaza who will take the lead role. She’ll play a girl on her way to college who wants to lose her virginity and learn all the ways of the bedroom before she gets there.

Hader’s involvement is no surprise given that his wife, Maggie Carey, wrote the script and is planning to direct it as her debut. The others are mainly known for their involvement on American TV so might be less familiar to Brits – Glover from Community, Britton from Friday Night Lights and Whitman from Arrested Development.

There’s no filming date yet but we’ll bring you more info on that when it comes in.
