London’s Oldest Cinema Celebrates 100th Birthday

Electric300London’s oldest movie house, Notting Hill’s Electric Cinema, will be celebrating it’s 100th birthday with two specially themed evenings and special screenings.

The venue will be organising Pirates of the Caribbean events May 22 at 5:45pm and May 28 at 6:30pm, at which viewers will be able to watch the new film On Stranger Tides from the comfort of leather armchairs.

On hand will be a selection of Caribben nibbles and a choice of cocktails, including Sparrow’s Punch or Fountain of Youth. The fourth installment, of the franchise features Johnny Depp as the much loved Captain Jack Sparrow alongside new rival Penelope Cruz in a search for the Fountain of Youth.
