Man Of Steel Pushed Back To 2013
It’s not a huge surprise as different screenwriters have been brought in to fiddle with the script but now Warners have made an official announcement. The new proposed date for Supes is June 14th 2013.
There’s no official reason why it’s been moved but the sheer number of films out in 2012 probably has something to do with it – Life Of Pi, Django Unchained, Lone Ranger and the big daddy of them all The Hobbit are all slated for release around the same time. And as The Hobbit is also a Warner Bros. film, it’ll allow the studio to pump all its marketing behind one film at a time.
It should allow time to polish up the script which is something we definitely can’t have enough of considering how woeful past Superman movies have been. Let’s also hope producer Chris Nolan can shake some sense into director Zack Snyder.
The cast list remains as muscular as ever with Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue, Russell Crowe, Julia Ormond Harry Lennix and Christopher Meloni.
