Ron Howard To Direct Superhero Drama 364
Now that The Dark Tower has been demolished by Universal, Ron Howard’s looking for a new project. It seems his attention has alight on 364, a drama about a man who has superpowers for only one day a year.
The script’s written by David Guggenheim a former editor at US Weekly, who seems to be churning out scripts at a rate of knots. He wrote forthcoming Denzel Washington/Ryan Reynolds flick Safe House which has just wrapped and has Santiago and Puzzle Palace in the works too.
There’s no further detail on the plot other than the guy in question will spend the 364 days without powers thinking of all the things he’s going to do on that one day when they kick in.
There’s also no word on when this will shoot but it’ll be after Rush – the biography of Formula 1 champion driver Niki Lauda starring Chris Hemsworth which is currently in pre-production.
