Big Brother Day 91 - Mikey’s Dream
Mikey shared his latest dream with Rachel this morning.
The foul-mouthed comic has had a series of weird and wonderful dreams over the last few days, and last night was no exception.
He explained: “I had this weird dream last night. We were in Edinburgh Castle. We were staying the night. We were in bunk beds. There were torches. Did someone mention torches last night?”
When Rachel said Rex and Darnell had been discussing the item, Mikey went on to reveal his odd dream was clearly rooted in last night’s shock eviction of Mohamed and Kathreya.
He continued: “It was scary, at the top there’s only so much space to walk. I was looking at a huge drop, straight down. There were Jelly Babies floating about. And bunnies. It was like Alice in Wonderland.”
Clearly a little bored with listening to the tale of Mikey’s slumber, Rachel muttered: “Aw, were we in it?”
Mikey replied: “We were looking for Kathreya actually. We couldn’t find her.”
Both housemates then sat staring into the distance as they thought of their evicted pal.
Suddenly killing the mood, Rachel said: “Mmm, mmm, mmm. I may go back to bed and get another hour’s sleep.”
Big Brother Day 91 - Rex Amazed to be in Final
Rex is “amazed” he has made it to the ‘Big Brother’ final.
The bossy chef - who has irritated many of his fellow housemates by continually boasting about his wealthy lifestyle - admitted he was shocked he had made it to the final after Kathreya and Mohamed were evicted last night.
After claiming he felt “humble”, Rex added: “I’m still amazed. It’s absolutely amazing that people have picked up the phone and voted for us. They spend their own money. I feel so amazed.
“It makes me feel like everything I’ve done here has been worthwhile.”
Darnell also admitted he was excited the public liked him, but added he felt bad he was only happy now he his friends Mohamed and Kat had left.
Later, Darnell told Rex he couldn’t believe they were in the final because they were both “f***heads”.
Rex was in total agreement, adding it proved the public preferred housemates who “don’t smell of roses”.
The pair then began to wonder if they would be the last two left in the house, but agreed they were just happy to make it to the final.
Darnell said: “People must like me. I don’t even need no money, dude.”
Big Brother Day 91 - New Race Row
‘Big Brother’ is engulfed in another race row after former ‘EastEnders’ star Wendy Richard seemed to racially abuse Kathreya.
The actress was appearing on spin-off show ‘Big Brother’s Little Brother’ (’BBLB’) on Monday night when she began discussing the Thai masseuse, who left the house in a shock eviction last night.
Wendy said: “I was a big fan of Kat, and we would discuss it amongst our friends and they said she is not right.
“I looked at her through different eyes and I have to admit they were right and I was wrong. She is fake, and she is very cute.
“What is it they say about these inscrutable Chinese? And she is Thai, but it is all Oriental isn’t it? Well it is to me anyway.”
Realising how offensive the comments could be, presenter George Lamb quickly said: “I don’t think that is unique to Asian people, more to Kat.”
Wendy continued: “They don’t betray their emotions on their face, that is what I meant.”
TV watchdog Ofcom has already received complaints about the episode, which was cut from repeats of the show.
A Channel 4 spokesman said: “‘BBLB’ does go out live, George Lamb did correct her that her comment was not specific to Asian people but to Kat.”
Wendy’s spokesman Kevin Francis said: “Wendy would have not intended comments that way, she is not racist at all. It has been blown out of all proportion.”
Jady Goody was accused of racially bullying actress Shilpa Shetty during last year’s ‘Celebrity Big Brother’, while ‘Big Brother 8′ contestant Emily was removed after she used the word “n****r”.
Big Brother Day 91 - Kat & Mo Evicted
Mohamed and Kathreya were evicted from the ‘Big Brother’ house last night.
The shock evictions took place as the unaware contestants were taking part in their latest task - which saw them mimicking each other - and left many of the group in tears.
The housemates were dressed in big black wigs and white dressing gowns as they impersonated Mohamed when Davina suddenly announced the toy demonstrator had been evicted.
Ten seconds after the announcement Mohamed exited the house to a mixed response.
When asked about his nickname ‘Greedy Mo’, he said: “They were calling me ‘Greedy Mo’ but I thought it was a joke. If there’s a spare chicken and no-one wants it, I’m going to have it. It has to be ate.”
He also admitted some of the contestants were concerned that Sara was only flirting with Darnell to win votes.
He said: “I think she flirted with Darnell and Stu for a purpose. As far as I know, she doesn’t fancy him but Darnell genuinely likes her. We’ve been telling him every morning it’s dangerous. For that moment he leaves it alone then he goes back to it later.”
He also revealed he had a secret crush on Rachel, saying: “I don’t know what to say about her. Every time I look at her I look at her a**e. I’m not being rude, she’s got a nice a**e.”
Taking about Rex, Mohamed admitted he could be “really horrible” and claimed he has “power” in the house.
As soon as Mohamed’s interview finished, Davina told the shocked housemates Kat was being evicted, prompting Darnell, Rachel and Kat to burst into tears.
Still in tears, Kat also exited to a mixed reception, but told Davina: “I’m extremely happy actually. I think I’m like English Marmite, sometimes you love me and sometimes you hate me. I think I might be a little bit annoying and a little bit too happy but better that than miserable. Happy, happy house!”
She also refused to hear a bad word about Rex, saying: “I’m his Thai sister and he is my English brother, I love him, any time I am upset he give me a hug and I want to be his friend. I want to show him love is give and take.”
Big Brother Day 90 - Mo’s Accusations
Mohamed accused Kathreya and Sara of talking about him today.
The paranoid ‘Big Brother’ housemate was adamant the pair were discussing him as they were swimming, and stormed into the house after telling them he knew what they were up to.
Sara and Kat were having a discussion - which was not about Mohamed - in the swimming pool when Sara decided they should at least attempt to do some exerice.
She said: “Let’s do 10 more laps and then stop for another chat.”
Kat agreed, and the pair merrily began swimming around the pool, with Sara shouting: “Come on Big Brother, make the pool warmer for us.”
After their self-imposed exercise regime, the girls stopped again and settled down for another talk.
Suddenly, Mohamed flung open the living room door, popped his head through and began staring at them.
Kat said tentatively: “Hello?”
Mohamed replied: “I heard you two talking about me.”
Sara replied: “No, we weren’t speaking about anybody in the house.”
Mohamed simply closed the door and said nothing.
Obviously amazed at his behaviour, Kat exclaimed: “How paranoid is the house?”
Big Brother Day 90 - Rex & Darnell Tease Sara
Rex and Darnell teased Sara today.
The ‘Big Brother’ boys - who were accused of bullying the Australian beauty last week - decided to liven up their morning by picking on Sara as she got ready for the day ahead, but she seemed to enjoy the attention.
As Sara knelt by a mirror, Rex said: “What are you putting all that make-up on for?”
Slightly taken aback, Sara said: “I’m just putting a bit of mascara on.”
Referring to Sara’s recent flirtation with Darnell, cheeky Rex continued: “Don’t bother. Who are you trying to impress? Darnell?”
Giggling, Sara replied: “No! I’m going in the pool with Kat for crying out loud!”
Rex queried: “So you’re putting your make-up on to go in the pool?”
Sara laughed: “I’m putting a bit of mascara on! Leave me alone!”
Rex stated: “Darnell, she’s putting make-up on for you.”
Trying to play it cool, a clearly excited Darnell replied: “Aren’t you getting in the pool?”
Sara flirtily replied: “He thinks I’m putting mascara on for you.”
Darnell responded: “Who else would you be putting it on for?”
As Sara once again moaned she was just putting “a bit of mascara” on, Rex interjected: “For Darnell.”
Darnell added: “I mean, damn! Just admit it.”
Changing the topic, Rex exclaimed to Darnell: “Tell your woman she needs some more bronzer on that face. You gotta bronze that face up darlin’.”
Darnell added: “I’m the only one who’s allowed to walk around all pale and s**t in this house!”
Big Brother Day 90 - Rex Backs Darnell
Rex has predicted Darnell will finish either first or second in ‘Big Brother’.
In a discussion with some of the other housemates last night, the arrogant playboy said he hoped someone “shocking” won the show and was particularly keen for Darnell to triumph.
He said: “I would love it if there was a complete shocker. I think the person who it would make the biggest difference to win would be you though, Darnell.
“That would give you everything you ever wanted. I’m going for Darnell in the top one or two. First or second place, 100 per cent.”
The chef then began thinking about which of the other contestants might do well, and agreed with Kathreya that Rachel had a good chance.
However, Rex - who argued with Rachel over her decision to nominate him last night - claimed the Welsh beauty would only do well because of where she is from.
He said: “Rachel has, basically, the whole of Wales. Mikey has the whole of Scotland. And us lot share London.”
Darnell added Mikey had a good chance of winning as many of the former housemates - such as Dale, Stuart, Bex and Luke - would be supporting him.
Big Brother Day 90 - Rex Annoyed by Chef Prize
Sara and Mohamed were named ‘Big Brother Executive Chefs of the Year’ last night, much to Rex’ irritation.
The pair won the accolade after all the housemates took part in a culinary challenge, where Rex - who is a chef in the outside world - had to teach the others to cook steak bearnaise and a blueberry souffle.
Rex was ordered to teach the hapless housemates, who were split into pairs, the dishes and then had to judge which were the best cooks.
Kathreya and Darnell failed to impress, with Rex blasting their “lumpy” mash, saying it tasted “like it’s got foreign objects in there.”
He also said they had under-salted their dish, prompting Kat to reply: “We go for the healthy option.”
Mikey and Rachel were rebuked for their “sloppy” presentation, but Sara and Mohamed were praised for their efforts.
Rex said: “Without a shadow of a doubt, I’m actually very impressed with Sara and Mo’s meal. They followed my instructions carefully and added their own flare. Outstanding food I would say. There was no competition there. Honestly guys, that was really, really good.”
The pair were rewarded with a trophy made of wooden spoons and some alcohol.
However, when the couple emerged from the Diary Room clutching the reward, Rex seemed jealous of the trophy.
He picked it up, turned to a camera, pointed at it and then at himself.
Noticing his jealousy, Kat giggled: “Why you want that anyway? It’s only a wooden stick stuck on a rock. You’re so funny.”
He then tried to go to the Diary Room to moan, but Big Brother refused him entry.
Big Brother Day 90 - Cross Dressing Exits
Two housemates will be forced to leave the ‘Big Brother’ house dressed as members of the opposite sex tonight.
In the shock twist, the group will reportedly be ordered to dress up as each other later today and will then be rewarded with a party.
Once the housemates - who are all expecting a surprise eviction to take place tomorrow - are enjoying the bash, Davina McCall will announce that two of them must leave.
The unlucky pair will then exit the house as cross-dressing housemates.
A show insider said: “It’s going to be a big shock for everyone.”
Fans have been voting for which of the seven remaining contestants - Sara, Rachel, Kathreya, Mikey, Rex, Mohamed and Darnell - they want to win since the weekend.
Mohamed and Kat - who had a furious argument with Darnell on Sunday night - are the favourites to leave tonight, while Mikey is odds on to win the show.
Big Brother Day 90 - Rex & Rach Argue
Rex and Rachel had a vicious argument last night.
The arrogant chef - who was reprimanded for bullying fellow ‘Big Brother’ housemate Sara last week - asked Rachel why she had nominated him, but then rowed with her when he did not like the reasons she gave.
Rachel explained: “I nominated you because of the way you were with Nicole, for the way you treated people, the way you treated me.”
Annoyed she had brought up his girlfriend - who joined the house after Rex continually moaned about how much he missed her - Rex fumed: “What do you mean the way I was with Nicole?”
Sticking to her guns, Rachel said: “When she was in the house, you were not a very nice person.”
She added that she doesn’t like the way Rex sometimes treats bubbly Kathreya, a comment which infuriated the chef further.
After claiming she walked around with her “head in the clouds”, Rex added: “You try having your partner in here, sticking up for her, and sticking up for yourself. It wasn’t very easy.
“I’m real. I have my ups and I have my downs. The way you deal with things is by agreeing with everyone.”
After Rachel said she did not regret her decision, Rex accused her and Mohamed of making no effort with Nicole when she arrived.
He said: “If my girlfriend is here, you should take it upon yourself to talk to her.”
Rachel replied: “I was nice to her when she arrived. I admit, in the end, I distanced myself because of her negativity.”
