Big Brother Day 29 - New Housemate No Threat to Jen
Jennifer wouldn’t be bothered if another woman came into the Big Brother house.
Jen - who is up for eviction alongside Rex this week and has enjoyed a flirtation with Dale - claimed she wouldn’t be jealous if another pretty girl was brought into the house and befriended Dale after she had left.
Luke broached the subject, asking “Would it be comfortable for you if another woman came in the house with Dale?”
Jennifer replied “To be completely honest with you, I really couldn’t be bothered. I’m not jealous. If somebody likes you enough they won’t show any interest in anyone else. It’s a test of character. You would see through that person.”
Jennifer also admitted feeling worried about the upcoming eviction and said she was doesn’t feel ready to leave.
She said “I really don’t want to go. If I’m supposed to go I’m supposed to go, but I really don’t want to.”
Luke added “Dale is going to be devastated.”
Jennifer replied “I know. But I tried to reassure him that it is going to happen and that he needs to pull himself together. We came here single. We leave here with friendships.”
Big Brother Day 29 - Rachel and Kat Discuss Housemates
Rachel and Kathreya discussed some of the Big Brother housemates today.
Emotional Kat was concerned she had angered some of the others by crying too much - last night Lisa and Mario advised her to try to control her emotions - but also said she was finding it hard to get along with everyone, especially Jennifer and Rebecca.
Attempting to comfort her friend, Rachel suggested she tried to remember positive times in the house.
Rachel said “Remember the lively, innocent Bex we saw in the first week. There is a nice side to Bex and Jen, although yes, there is a negative side to them.”
She admitted Bex could be “abrupt” but also suggested she had “got lost” in the house.
Although Kat agreed with some of Rachel’s comments, she also said there “certain people” it was impossible to get along with.
Later Darnell also chatted to Kat about her emotional state.
He told Kat not to get upset by other people because it was “not worth it” and suggested it only made her look weak.
He said Kat should accept Bex has a right to get cross with people, saying “It doesn’t mean that she is right, it means that she has a right.”
He also admitted he “shot himself in the foot” by getting angry on Mohamed’s behalf last week - after ex-housemate Dennis spat in his face - and suggested Kat was doing the same thing by crying all the time.
Big Brother Day 29 - New Housemate?
The Big Brother contestants are expecting a new housemate to join them soon.
Rachel brought the topic up this morning and said she was certain Big Brother would bring another girl in before long, but the boys were quick to disagree.
Rachel said “This Friday’s evictee could be going into another House. Either way, I’m sure you guys are going to get a nice young girl soon.”
Kathreya agreed, saying she thought there would be a new housemate “within this week”.
However, albino Darnell didn’t have quite so much faith in Big Brother, saying “The more I think about getting a new girl housemate, the more I think Big Brother will put in a dude.”
Stuart was quick to back up Darnell, stating: “That’s what I’m thinking now. Some old guy.”
When Rachel commented she wouldn’t mind an older male housemate, Stuart replied “Oh I would. I’d really mind… to the point where I wouldn’t speak to him.”
As the others started giggling Rachel said Stuart was being “horrible”.
He responded “I wouldn’t even let on to him.”
He then admitted he was just joking, before adding “Seriously though, I don’t want a guy to come in. There’s far too many men in here already. I honestly wouldn’t get excited in the slightest.”
Big Brother Day 29 - Bex Jailed
Rebecca was sent to the Big Brother jail this morning.
Exhibitionist Bex was imprisoned for talking about nominations and thinks she will have to spend the whole day behind bars.
Muscle man Mario was quick to criticise Bex when he heard she admitted trying to influence other people.
He became particularly angry when he realised Bex tried to convince people to vote for Rex, who is facing the public vote alongside Jennifer this week.
Mario said “It’s not nice is it?”
However, Luke and Jennifer were more sympathetic towards their friend.
Luke commented Rex “has no shame” when he saw the chef was smoking in front of Bex, who is not allowed a cigarette while she is in prison.
Jennifer said she was upset because it could be her last day in the house and she wanted to spend it with Bex and Luke added he hoped she wouldn’t be in jail all day.
Referring to last night’s antics which saw him share a bed with Bex, he said “Part of me hopes she stays in there so she doesn’t have to sleep in my bed. That’s only 10 per cent. 90 per cent wants her out. Well, 80 per cent.”
Rachel suggested Big Brother might start taking a tougher stance on people discussing nominations, saying: “Some people just don’t listen.”
Big Brother Day 29 - Kat an Actress?
Lisa and Mario think Kat is an actress.
The amorous couple were discussing Kat this morning when Lisa let slip Kat had admitted having a background in acting.
Mario immediately said he was going to ask her about it, with Lisa commenting it could be why the Thai masseuse is always crying.
Last night the housemates become so annoyed with Kat’s constant tears they decided to confront her.
Kat - whose sensitive nature and constant pleas for a “happy house” have angered many Big Brother contestants lately - began to cry when a row broke out between Rex and Rebecca and retreated to the Diary Room.
Lisa said “Bex feels guilty now for upsetting Kat. It’s got to stop. Every time there’s banter or raised voices she starts to cry. We need to tell her we can’t live with it.”
Beefy Mario was quick to agree, saying “She’s 30, for God’s sake. She’s not a kid.”
Lisa added “If someone shouts: ‘Kat is a n*b’ in the street, what is she going to do?”
Emerging from her chat with Big Brother, Kat said “Maybe it’s because I’ve never worked full-time and all I do is live with my partner but I just can’t cope with certain situations.”
Lisa replied “It’s just upsetting to see you so upset, you’ve got to try to control it.”
Mario added “You’ve got to understand, Kat, that it is a game. You’ve got to get that into your head. It’s going to be up and down and it will affect everyone.”
Big Brother Day 29 - Luke and Bex Bicker over Bed
Luke called Rebecca a “hippo” last night and claimed he would need “Viagra” to sleep with her.
The skinny student made the comments when Bex asked if she could share his bed because her sheets stank of brine after she slept on them while wearing her Big Brother Zoo animal costume.
Luke said “You repulse me Rebecca. I’d need a Viagra to be able to go to bed with you.”
He then compared the nursery nurse to a hippo.
Bex responded by saying Luke had the “body and the personality of a 12-year-old”.
Seemingly not phased by the comment, Luke replied “Some boys fight with words not fists.”
Although there was a brief period of calm when the pair had a cuddle in bed, Luke and Bex were soon at war again when Bex claimed she would rather sleep with comedian “Peter Kay” than Luke.
Luke responded “I don’t want to sleep with someone who will touch me in the night.”
Prompting Bex to reply “I’d rather rip my own eyes out than touch you in a sexual manner.”
After Bex eventually climbed into her pongy bed, guilt-ridden Luke relented and asked her to come and share with him.
Bex refused, saying she was upset because he called her a hippo.
Luke explained “I meant hippopotamus in terms of the cute happy hippo things not an actual hippo. Anyway, you called me a 12-year-old boy.”
The bickering continued, with Bex grabbing Luke’s bottom.
He asked her what she thought of his rear and she replied it was “amazing”.
Luke said “My political career is over.”
Bex replied “You? My social life is over. Your social life has gone up sleeping with me, your mates will think ‘Check those out.’ But mine has plummeted.”
Big Brother Day 29 - Jen and Dale Share Bed
Jennifer and Dale shared a bed last night.
The pair snuggled up in the Big Brother luxury bedroom and started whispering, causing some of the other housemates to start gossiping.
Luke was particularly keen to discuss the new development between Jennifer and Dale and commented there might be “tent action” from their end of the room.
Earlier, the flirty couple discussed sex and naughty banter.
Dale - who has previously admitted he finds Jennifer attractive - said “I’m not a fan of dirty talking, to be honest.”
Jennifer agreed, saying “I had it once whispered in my ear and I stopped and just said ‘What the hell have you just said to me?’ ”
Dale added he didn’t like the idea of saying rude things to someone and then 20 minutes later making them a cup of tea and discussing something totally different, like shopping.
He said “I like to steer away from the whole thing.”
Big Brother Day 29 - Bex and Rex at Loggerheads
Rebecca and Rex had a furious argument last night.
The row started when Bex decided to drink some of Mohamed’s wine without asking, in retaliation for his decision to use the last of her tobacco earlier in the week.
When Mohamed confronted Bex she started laughing, prompting Rex to wade into the disagreement.
Rex said “Why don’t you get your t**s out Bex, that’ll amuse everyone?”
Angry Bex replied “Why don’t you talk about your f***ing restaurant some more, because we all want to hear about it and that’s why you’re up for a nomination.”
The spat proved too much to handle for Kathreya, who ran off crying.
Bored of Kat’s constant tears, muscley Stuart said “Oh, stop crying.”
Bex echoed his point, shouting “This is pathetic. I’m sorry. That is pathetic!”
It was left to former bodybuilder Lisa to run after Kat and calm her down.
Lisa said “Stop it. You’re getting too carried away. They don’t get on Kat, you can’t make them.”
Although peace was momentarily restored to the house, Bex and Rex rowed again later in the evening.
Bex decided to speak to Rex about the reason they weren’t getting on.
She claimed she was upset because he called her fat and said the comment had “really hurt”.
Rex said it had only been a joke and she should have mentioned how upset she was.
He said “Why didn’t you speak out at the time instead of going into the bathroom and bitching about it?”
An honest Bex replied “I’m a spoilt brat. And when things happen I do get angry.”
