Angry that Tony has decided to let her sister keep Max, Jacqui packs her bags - much to Tony’s dismay. Has he ruined everything?

A guilty Calvin, meanwhile, is keeping a huge secret. Haunted by memories of killing Nige, he is stunned when Warren suggests that they get rid of the evidence as soon as possible. Warren decides on a day on which to bury the body, but is Calvin going to be able to avoid him for long?

Also this week, Justin apologises for letting Leila take the blame after the jewellery robbery. Nancy wakes up with Ravi. Steph gets a job as weather reporter on the student TV channel. Mandy has a great idea for a new business. And Carmel is excited about her wedding.

Weatherfield’s latest villain is stepping up his game this week. Tired of people getting in the way of his business plans, Tony is frustrated when the sole tenant of a street of houses he wants to acquire refuses to budge. When Tony pays the old man, Jed Stone, another visit, a flaming row ensues and Jed collapses. Will Tony call for an ambulance or seize the chance to get rid of him?

Over at the Rovers, Michelle is looking forward to her trip to Belgium, but Steve is not happy about it. When Liz tells him that she reckons Michelle only got back together with him so that she would have someone to babysit Ryan, he starts thinking. Is Liz right? There’s happier news for him elsewhere, as Roy tells Becky that he’s through with meddling in her life. Have she and Steve got away with their little indiscretion?

When he pays Pearl a visit to get the quilt back, a tug-of-war results in an almighty tear - and the pair’s bonding over the ensuing repair project ends in a surprising kiss for Pearl! The quilt contest results in more drama when Paul and Rodney accidentally cut up Diane’s dry-cleaning to make their quilt - how will she react when she finds out?

Also this week, Paul’s high spirits dissolve when he gets some bad news. Andy tells Jo that he thinks they should have another baby. And Pollard is furious when he discovers that Val has a tattoo of the name ‘Derek’…

Things are also bad for Calvin, who has got himself into serious trouble with Carmel over his lies about buying drugs for her sister. Things get worse when Warren sends him another threatening text, vowing to spill the beans unless Calvin does what Warren tells him to do. The scene is set for a violent confrontation…

Also this week, Michaela searches for love closer to home. An impoverished Ste comes up with a dangerous money-making scheme. Tina gets too close for comfort when she helps out with baby Max. And Newt has a breakthrough.

Love rat Steve gets on his high horse this week, informing an irritated Becky that he has more to lose than she does if the truth comes out. Becky responds by inviting Michelle out for the evening, where Michelle ends up reconnecting with an old male friend. Furiously dismissing her claims that there is nothing going on, Steve tells Michelle that if they do not get back together she has to move out. Will Michelle be forced to give Steve a second chance?

Meanwhile, Teresa is still playing the dutiful wife. She rustles up dinner for Jerry and Finlay, slipping one of Jerry’s tablets into his curry, but is horrified when he tries to give some of his food to the boy. Later, Teresa slips more drugs into Jerry’s food - how long will it be before he starts to feel the effects of her secret poisoning?

With her trial looming, a gloomy Viv also has a lot on her mind - and not even a fun-filled family picnic can lift her spirits for long. She decides that a mock trial would boost her confidence, but is crushed when she is found ‘guilty’. Fearing the same outcome in the real world, Viv comes to a dramatic decision to solve her problems…

When the police arrive, Steve tries to protect his daughter by taking the blame… but when Chris dies from his injuries, it looks like Steve is going to face a manslaughter charge.
