Returning from Paris to a delighted welcome by Rebecca, Paul wonders if a trip down the aisle might be in order. But his warm and fuzzy bubble is soon burst when incriminating photos of him with Kirsten appear in the post. Who could be blackmailing him - and where will they stop?

Steve, meanwhile, is having a somewhat difficult week. When his father Jim shows up, Steve rejects his attempts at reconciliation but starts to thaw. However, things soon take a turn for the worse when Steve realises that Jim has fallen off the wagon, and an argument quickly ensues - ending in a shocking revelation that will change Steve’s life forever.

Also this week, Karl is concerned that Libby is using Ty to get over Dan. Nicola’s meddling drives a wedge between Steve and Miranda. Sam decides to stop taking her medication. And Taylah has a surprising request for Karl.

Elsewhere, Billy wants to get his business up and running, but Honey is offered a job - and he’s running out of time to get the cash together. Ben is also on a mission, determined to make his dancing debut at the Community Centre - and Shirley and Phil begin to grow closer as she tries to convince him to support Ben.

Also this week, Jean excitedly prepares for her picnic date with Ted and wears her new dress. Max and Jack are at loggerheads. And Dawn starts to get worried about Jase’s whereabouts and calls the hospital. As she realises what has happened, panic begins to set in…

Meanwhile, Sasha is becoming frustrated at being mollycoddled by her family. To help her stave off the boredom caused by her house arrest, Danny persuades her to take part in a cupcake-baking contest - but it seems that baking isn’t enough to keep Sasha entertained, and it’s not long before she disappears. Will the Valentines track her down before Carmel and Calvin get back from their holiday?

Also this week, John Paul realises how much Keiron has sacrificed to be with him and comes up with a dramatic way of showing his commitment to the relationship. Tina reveals the identity of baby Max’s father. Justin and Ste find their new job isn’t too bad. And Malachy turns up unexpectedly and tells Kris that Eamon is missing.

She is horrified to finally discover that the culprit is none other than her villainous ex, John Stape. The news of John’s return soon reaches Sally and Rosie, who agree that they need to tell Kevin before he does something stupid… but will they manage to get to him before John does?

Meanwhile, Steve is working on his plan to get back into the Rovers and decides to use his daughter Amy as a pawn in his game. Michelle agrees to act like nothing has happened when Amy is around, and they enjoy a family breakfast together. A delighted Steve thinks that this means a reunion is on the cards - but Lloyd is concerned that Steve is using Amy in some ill-advised emotional blackmail. Does Michelle feel the same way?

Also this week, Rosie gets up to her usual scheming tricks. Kevin is furious to hear that John is back. Jerry gives everybody a scare after a medication mix-up. Gail is confused when she gets home to find the house suspiciously tidy. David thinks that Tina is hiding something from him. Deciding not to, he keeps quiet - but the suspicious Gray soon realises what is going on. And with Katie due to give birth any minute, will he find her before she can carry out her plan?

Gennie is having quite an eventful week as well, beginning with an attempt to set the attractive locum vet up with Chas. She is then alarmed when her overbearing mother, Brenda, shows up with plans to get Gennie away from the Dingles. And when Jo accidentally hits a sheep on the road, Gennie rushes to the vets’ to get help. With nobody around, she loads up with drugs to save the animal and heads back - only to get arrested with the drugs in her bag…

Also this week, Katie’s actions threaten to cause more than one break-up. Pollard is stunned when the health and safety inspector shuts the factory down. Louise pays Viv a visit. And Sam begins to see Jo as more than just a friend. Are his feelings reciprocated?

Things get weirder when he finds Claire’s notebook and discovers that his name is in there - circled, with pound signs next to it. What on earth could Claire be up to? And Christian makes Lucy go and see Bradley to offer him her cleaning services, but she’s not happy about it.

Zainab is also having quite a week. When a money-lender comes knocking at the door demanding payment, Zainab is horrified and asks Masood how on earth they are going to come up with the cash. Masood’s answer is not very reassuring: however they do it, they need to find the money by the end of the week…

Elsewhere, Roxy has moved back in, and Ronnie is happier - despite a black eye and the loss of her treasured locket. Claire prepares for the arrival of a mystery caller. Jase makes a secret phone call. And the atmosphere is tense between Max, Tanya, Jack and Ronnie as the ladies demand to know what Max is playing at.

Eventually, he buckles under the pressure and proposes to her in order to maintain Lloyd’s story. Michelle is delighted - until she finds out the truth thanks to a slip of the tongue by Lloyd. Meanwhile, Steve just keeps digging himself deeper and deeper.

The wedding-bells theme is continued elsewhere as Tyrone realises how much he cares for Molly and decides to make it official. Jack offers him Vera’s engagement ring, and Tyrone books a swanky restaurant for the occasion. But things don’t quite go according to plan…

Also this week, Kevin and Tony continue to wage war over the garage. Ken surprises Roy by handing in his notice at the cafe. Dev realises that he needs more excitement in his life, but doesn’t know where to find it. Kevin’s paranoia gets on Sally and Rosie’s nerves. And a furious Michelle decides to make Steve sweat.

EmmerdaleNicola sees pound signs in her eyes this week when she finds out that Rodney’s book is attracting quite a following. When a publisher calls, raving about it, Nicola stuns David by claiming full credit for writing the book. To make matters worse, Nicola cites Rodney as a mere ‘inspiration’ and then announces that he’s deceased! Is she about to snatch success out of poor Rodney’s hands?

Viv, meanwhile, is beside herself when she finds out that Freddie may have been sighted. When Bob refuses to consider re-hiring the private investigator, Viv turns to Donna for money. Will Donna give her mum the money to find Freddie and clear her name - or will Viv be forced to resort to even more desperate measures?

Also this week, Jo’s first day at the Woolpack turns into a nightmare when after-work drinks leave her in a drunken mess. How will Andy react? Viv and Bob’s marriage may be on the rocks, while Perdy and Katie might have a shot at rebuilding their friendship. And Pollard’s new arrangement with Terry almost sees the end of the factory.
