The film follows high school loser Dave Lizewski as he tries his hand at being a superhero, not letting the fact that he has no powers stand in his way.

Calling himself Kick-Ass, he soon encounters heroes with a bit more experience and a lot more firepower than he in the shape of Big Daddy and 11 year old daughter Hit Girl.

Starring Nowhere Boy’s Aaron Johnson, Nicholas Cage, Mark Strong, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Chloe Moretz, prepare yourself for the cine-gasm that is Kick-Ass.

After a group of elite soldiers find themselves stranded in a jungle, they must team up in order to fight off whatever is hunting them. But survival doesn’t look like an option after they realise that they’re in a hunting reserve used by the Predators.

The cast has got a few big names but if you really look at it, they’re not exactly the action heroes we were hoping for. Topher Grace and Adrien Brody? Really?

Lawrence Fishburne lends the film a bit more credibility with Danny Trejo boosting it’s cool cult factor and Alice Braga starring as the token lady soldier.

Opposed to Omar and everyone else on earth is the white islamic convert Barry (Nigel Lindsay). He’d realize he joined the cell to channel his nihilism – If he had half the self knowledge of a duck.

Faisal (Adeel Akhtar) is the odd man out. He can make a bomb – but he can’t blow himself up just now coz his sick dad has “started eating newspaper”. Instead he’s training crows to fly bombs through windows. This is what Omar has to deal with. They must strike a decisive blow on their own turf but can any of them strike a match without punching himself in the face?

Jennifer Aniston plays Kassie, a single woman who wants kids, she decides to have a baby using donor sperm from Roland (Patrick Wilson). But before she and he can do the deed, her best friend Wally (Jason Bateman) drunkenly spills the good stuff and replaces it with his own.

Seven years later, Wally must face the fact that he’s ‘hijacked’ his friend’s pregnancy and that he wants to be a part of her and her son’s life.

No word on when exactly it’ll be over here but it’s slated for an US release in August 2010.

The last time we saw Shrek, he and Fiona were happily married (sort of) with a brood of kids plus Donkey. But now Shrek’s feeling down in the dumps, so he makes a deal with the scheming Rumplestiltskin to make him feel like a real ogre again.

The trickster dupes poor Shrek and the world changes into one where ogres are hunted and he and Fiona have never met. Not only that, but everyone’s favourite fighting feline, Puss in Boots, is an overfed housecat and Rumplestiltskin is the King of Far Far Away Land. Now Shrek must fight to change the world and win back his lady love.

The movie will also be playing in 3D and is set for a July release.

Anyway, this version will follow the typical story of Robin fighting in the Crusades with King Richard then returning to merry old England to find that Prince John has ballsed everything up while they’ve been gone. Putting peasants under extreme taxation, Prince John uses sidekick Sir Godfrey to help him gain power and keep the country under his thumb.

With a little help from his band of merry men, Robin tries to fight back and restore England to it’s former glory. Cate Blanchett also stars as love interest Maid Marion but at least in Scott’s version she looks like she could kick some serious ass.

This time round Tony Stark is more famous than ever but it’s not just women that want him; the US Government are after the rights to his Iron Man suit. Pepper Potts is still on Tony’s arm but sees competition in his new assistant, Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) who’s more than meets the eye.

Meanwhile, Ivan Vanko (Mickey Rourke), also known as Whiplash, is out for Tony’s blood and teams up with Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell) to get revenge on the Stark family. In order to fight off his enemies, Tony enlists his friend James Rhodes (now played by Don Cheadle) to suit up as War Machine and join him.

Though it’s not clear how much screen-time he’ll have, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) will be also be making an appearance.
