Nowhere Boy Trailer
When a film is chosen to close the London Film Festival, the pressure tends to mount up a little bit.
Luckily for debut director Sam Taylor-Wood, Nowhere Boy has been well-recieved by critics and Beatles fans alike.
Starring Aaron Johnson, Kristin Scott Thomas, Anne-Marie Duff and Thomas Sangster, the movie centres on rock ‘n roll icon John Lennon’s formative years in Merseyside and the beginnings of an iconic pop career.
So what exactly happened when John Lennon first met Paul McCartney? Find out on December 26.
Avatar International Trailer
If we’re going to be completely honest, we weren’t exactly jazzed after seeing the initial trailers for Avatar.
There was simply nothing ‘wow’ about it – the CGI looked like nothing special, and there was so little plot revealed it just felt like we were watching some very elaborate World Of Warcraft CGI.
We take it all back.
This trailer exhibits plot, decent performances, and surprisingly lifelike CGI (well as lifelike as blue alien creatures can get). Plus, imagine all of those awe-inspiring action shots by way of truly revolutionary 3D.
Crank it up to full screen, watch, and prepare to be blown away.
Capitalism: A Love Story Trailer
His previous films have railed against the war in Iraq, gun law and the American health system, so where now for one of the most controversial directors in the business?
Capitalism itself? Well why not…
Yes George W. Bush’s nemesis is back and this time he’s taking on those bonus-hoarding bankers and everyone else connected with the recent financial meltdown. Michael Moore’s new film, Capitalism: A Love Story, is set to open in Britain next February and lefties everywhere will be queuing up to pay homage to the hairy hippy icon.
It’s just a pity he couldn’t get hold of Fred Goodwin…

The Wolfman Trailer 2: This Looks Amazing
Damn you Anthony Hopkins.
Damn you to hell.
With its numerous production delays and by the very nature of it being a remake, there was always that niggling, Razzies-influenced voice convincing us that despite the stunning cast and lush visuals, The Wolfman would be an almighty, cheese-tastic flop.
From the looks of this second trailer though, in which Anthony Hopkin’s grizzled, sage voiceover take centre stage, this is going to be one of the film’s of 2010.
Gothic, sumptuous and with a hefty plot, this will be awesome!
The Wolfman is on general release across the UK from February 12th 2010.

The Cove Trailer
Directed by Louie Psihoyos, a photographer and first time filmmaker, The Cove follows former dolphin trainer Ric O’Barry, who captured and trained the 5 dolphins who played the title character in the television series ‘Flipper’, as he tries to find redemption for his actions. His journey takes him to Taiji, Japan where he discovers that the fishermen of the province, driven by a multi-billion dollar dolphin entertainment industry and an underhanded market for mercury-tainted dolphin meat, engage in an unseen and horrific hunt.
The nature of what they do is chilling — and the consequences dangerous to human health – the local authorities will go to great lengths to halt anyone from seeing it. Joining forces with Psihoyos, the Oceanic Preservation Society and a crack team of underwater experts, O’Barry strives to expose the truth of what is really going on in the cove and why it matters to everyone in the world.
The Cove is on general release across the UK from Friday 23rd October 2009.
