Johnny Depp Interview: Public Enemies Premiere
Johnny Depp is an infamously private person. So it was no surprise that at the London premiere of his latest cops’n'robbers movie Public Enemies he shied away from the majority of the press.
But we’ve got an EXCLUSIVE video here with interviews from the Depp himself, director Michael Mann, Oscar-winning starlet Marion Cotillard and a host of others.
Enjoy!
Excited? You should be! Check out our review of the movie here….
Ice Age 3 Gala Footage: Celebs Ahoy!
Ice Age 3 is coming.
And it’s bringing hundreds of screaming, scrabbling, E-numbered kiddies in its wake. Which is, in principal, scarier than the movie’s bad guys this time around: DINOSAURS! Graaaughragh.
What? Have you ever tried writing the sound of a dinosaur’s ROAR?
Oh.
Anyway, we headed down to the exclusive gala opening on Sunday morning and we’ll be bringing you our review of the movie soon. Until then, check out this celeb-packed video from the day.
Guaranteed to give you the warm and snugglies.
The Private Lives of Pippa Lee Trailer
From all outward appearances, Pippa Lee (ROBIN WRIGHT PENN) leads a charmed existence. An anchor of feminine serenity, she is the devoted wife of an accomplished publisher (ALAN ARKIN) thirty years her senior, the proud mother of two grown children, and a trusted friend and confidant to all who cross her path. But as Pippa dutifully follows her husband to a new life in a staid Connecticut retirement community, her idyllic world and the persona she has built over the course of her marriage will be put to the ultimate test.
The Private Lives of Pippa Lee is on general release across the UK from Friday 10th July 2009
Transformers 2 Press Conference: Megan Fox Calls Michael Bay A Tyrant
Team OTB trudged down to Claridges one late afternoon to get the skinny on Transformers 2 for you lovely lovely people.
While there were your usual ‘I’ve been asked this a thousand times before’ stock responses from the assembled starlets (consisting of Shia Labeouf, Sexiest Woman In The World Megan Fox, Director Michael Bay and John Turturro) it did throw up some very amusing moments, including Michael Bay’s ‘private’ home movie of Megan Fox, and her rather public declaration that – as movie rumours have murmured for a long time – he’s actually a bit of a douchebag on set.
Seriously, Kodak moment.
And then, even better, was a rather muppet-y question from one journo attempting to bring Ms Fox to task about her comments on the legalisation of marijuana, and her pitch-perfect smackdown.
We’ve also got Michael Bay’s thoughts on a Transformers 3 and, finally, probably the greatest moment of one man’s life, as Megan Fox inadvertently called him the Sexiest Man on the Planet.
Kodak moment again.
For more Transformer 2 goodness, check out our exclusive Revenge of the Fallen Review. Or for more great OTB vs Celeb moments, head to our video interview with Danny Dyer where he so modestly proclaims his interview with us was the ‘best f*&kin’ interview he’s had all day’. Shucks.
Danny Dyer Interview: OTB ‘best f*ckin’ interviewers’
Well. You don’t get THIS everyday.
While we were looking forward to our interview with cockney supremo Danny Dyer surrounding his latest zombie bird comedy Doghouse, we didn’t expect him to end up loving us quite as much. By the end of the interview he proclaims it was the ‘best f*ckin’ interview I’ve had all day mate’.
Shucks. We didn’t know you cared.
Well it’s all well and good having the star waffle on about the movie, but what did our critic make of it? Check out our Doghouse Review here….
Robert Pattinson in Exclusive Twilight New Moon Trailer
If there’s one actor responsible for making Noughties teenage girls turn to Wicca, Voodoo, avoidance of sunlight and a borderline Vampire obsession – it’s the God of Paleness himself, Robert Pattinson.
I would gladly relinquish all my worldly possessions for the chance to be appointed as his Personal Cowering Slave/ Brow Wiper / Concubine.
But wait, check out “Mr Werewolf” Jacob Black (Taylour Lautner). Damn, boy, somebody had a bucket load of testosterone for breakfast.
To quote Brittany Murphy in Clueless, “Break me off a piece of that!”
November will now be known as Soggy Pants Month. We heart Pattinson 4 Life.
Inglourious Basterds Exclusive Clip – Tarantino Speaks!
While we didn’t get to jetset off to Cannes, we did manage to nab an exclusive clip from Mr Pulp Fiction himself, Monsieur Quentin Tarantino!
Here’s a brief introduction to a never before seen clip from his buzz-heavy new movie, Inglourious Basterds….
In the first year of the German occupation of France, Shosanna Dreyfus (Melanie Laurent) witnesses the execution of her family at the hand of Nazi Colonel Hans Landa (Christoph Waltz). Shosanna narrowly escapes and flees to Paris where she forges a new identity as the owner and operator of a cinema.
Elsewhere in Europe, Lieutenant Aldo Raine (Brad Pitt) organizes a group of Jewish American soldiers to perform swift, shocking acts of retribution. Later known to their enemy as “the basterds,” Raine’s squad joins German actress and undercover agent Bridget von Hammersmark (Diane Kruger) on a mission to take down the leaders of the Third Reich. Fates converge under a cinema marquis, where Shosanna is poised to carry out a revenge plan of her own….
Angels and Demons Videos: Ewan Mcgregor and Tom Hanks on the Red Carpet
The Da Vinci Code may have gone down with the general public like a Alan Carr stand-up gig at the Vatican, but Angels and Demons is already looking far far better. With a less convoluted plot, Ewan McGregor and a Tom Hanks barnet that doesn’t resemble a lump of scrambled egg/dead ferret, Ron Howard’s second stab at the Dan Brown bibliography already has our hearts racing.
For your perusing pleasure, here’s a couple of red-carpet interviews from the movie’s premiere in Rome (just last night!)……….
Or why not have a natter with Ewan McGregor?
Star Trek London Red Carpet Footage
It’s official. No matter how much we’ve tried to protest, the OTB office are resigned to the fact that we’ve given into the stigma and are now full-blown Trekkies.
To celebrate JJ Abram’s much-hyped reinvention and the movie’s impending May 8th release date, we managed to hop on down to the red carpet and nab some interviews with the hottest cast around right now.
The director himself, Chris Pine, Zachary Pinto, John Cho, Zoe Saldana and OTB’s own personal false idol Simon Pegg all happily natter away on the evening of London’s Leicester Square Premiere. Enjoy!
